Email & IM FAQ

As questions about ways of contacting me often arise, I’ve put together this FAQ page.  Please leave any questions or comments below. ~smiles~

Q:  What is the best way to contact you outside of the phone?

A:  Email is my *highly* preferred method of contact.

Q:  Which email address to you check most often?

A: Unless I am having an Unplugged Day, I check my claire at enchantrixempire.com email multiple times per day.  Using it is strongly recommended as opposed to my Yahoo email.

Q:  I emailed you days ago, and didn’t get a response.  Why not?

A:  I attempt to answer all mails within 24 hours of receipt.  Those that are setting up an immediate session get priority.  If it has been more than 48 hours since you emailed me, and you don’t have a response, please re-send it.  It may have gotten filtered to spam, and I do not want to miss your mail!

Q:  I want to add you to my yahoo contact list.  What is your username?

A:  My Yahoo IM  user name is enchantrixclaire.

Q:  I really want to IM you right now, but the website shows you are on the phone.  Will you answer me?

A: I do not IM while I am in session.   I give each caller my full attention, as I am sure you will want when you are on the line with me.  ~smiles~  I will return your message as soon as I am able to.

Q:  How do I know when you are available to talk to on IM?

A:  Although it is not foolproof, as I sometimes forget to change it, look at my status with the Yahoo messenger window.

Q:  You show as available on the sites, but not in IM.  Why?

A:  If I do not show as available in Yahoo that means I am not able to answer you at that time.  I am not always at my desk when I am taking calls.

Q:  You show as available on both the sites and in Yahoo, but you aren’t answering me.  Why not?

A: If I show available, and there is a delay in my response, please be patient.  It is very common for me to have many IM windows open, and I answer each one in turn as calls, interacting on Enchantrix Empire, blogging, chatting in our chat room, etc, allow.

Q:  I want to get to know you before calling.  What’s the best way to do that?

A:  This blog itself is a great resource.  You can hear my voice, read about me, and get a sense of who I am. Our Enchantrix Empire is also a great place, and it is free.  Email exchanges are very welcomed as well.

Q:  I want to set up a scene in IM before calling.  Is that okay?

A:  If you wish to IM me to set up a scene, please understand that while I very much encourage pre-call communication, that the IM environment is not conducive to me giving you my uninterrupted attention.  You also run the very frustrating risk of getting cock blocked by another caller.

Q:  You told me you only do PG 13 chat in Yahoo.  What does that mean?

A: The IM environment is not an age-verified one.  Even if I’ve had 25 calls with you, I don’t know for certain that it is you IMing me at the time.  For all I know, it could be your teenager logged in to your chat account.  So I cannot talk explicitly in IM.

Q:  I just want to cyber with you.  Will you do that?

A:  Certainly!  You can purchase a session at Sexy Texting, then contact me with the email address you used at checkout.  I’ll get things set up from there.
